Charter

The Culver-Stockton Psychology Club is
sponsored by the Department of Psychology in the following ways
a.
Faculty member serves as an advisor to the club
b.
Promotes Psychology Club in classes by announcing meetings
c. Provides
bulletin board space
d.
Provides mailbox in department office

Executive Officers
a.
Serve one-year term
b.
Elections will occur in April by secret ballot through
email to the faculty advisor
c. Eligible
voters are current psychology members that attend meetings or
events
regularly
d.
Officers will be elected by majority vote
i.
In the event of a tie there will be a run-off election
between top candidates
ii.
All officers can be removed from office by petition in the
event of non-fulfillment of
duties.

Duties
a.
President
i.
Organizes and coordinates activities and planning for club
events in cooperation
with other officers and members
ii.
Delegates responsibilities to club members who are willing
and able to carry
them out
iii.
Acts as a liaison with the faculty advisor
iv.
Approves all bulletin board material
b.
Vice President
i.
Is acting president in the absence of the president
ii.
Reviews, recommends, and takes suggestions as to any
changes to the
Psychology Club Charter
iii.
Keeps track of and provides written event agendas
c.
Secretary
i.
Records minutes of regular meetings
ii.
Regularly checks club mailbox and brings information to
meetings
d.
Treasurer
i.
Responsible for club funds
ii.
Pays club bills from Psychology Club account
iii.
Keeps record of all income received and disbursements
iv.
Provides financial state of club at meeting
e.
All executive officers are expected to lead and coordinate
components of major events
and to attend all club meetings. Also all officers are to help
maintain the bulletin board
so that it is relevant and up to date.
f. Members
i.
Accept responsibility for any tasks volunteered for and/or
delegated by the
President
ii.
Attend a majority of the regular meetings as well as all of
the special or
emergency meetings
iii.
To participate and volunteer in club sponsored activities

Dues for
Membership
a.
Dues may be paid at any time during the year
b.
There will be annual dues in the amount of (
to be determined on a yearly basis)
i.
Any change in the amount of dues is to be by majority vote

Meetings
a.
Psychology Club meetings will be held once a week on
Mondays at 12:15 in the CP
unless otherwise specified
b.
Club sponsored events are open to all C-SC students and to
the general public
