Article 5: Meetings

Section 1:

Regular meetings of the Chapter shall occur weekly while school is in session.

Section 2:

Special Meetings may be called by the President or by special request to the President by a quorum of the members. The same business may be transacted at a Special Meeting as at a Regular Meeting. The President must give posted and announced notice before a Special Meeting.

Section 3:

All members shall be required to attend at least 60 percent of Chapter meetings.

Section 4:

The presence of a two-thirds majority of the membership shall constitute a quorum which must be present before any business may be transacted at a Regular or Special Meeting.

Section 5:

Meetings, except for the purposes of election and bidding, shall be open to guests of members.

Section 6:

This organization shall be governed by the rules contained in the Robert's Rules of Order, Revised in all cases where they are applicable.
