Article 6: Executive Board |
Section 1: |
The Executive Board of the Chapter will consist of the eight (8) officers listed in Article III, Section 4.

Section 2: |
The President shall preside over meetings of the Executive Board. Only the Vice President for Education shall preside in the absence of the President.

Section 3: |
Sixty percent (5 officers) of the total membership of the Executive Board shall constitute a quorum. All matters determined by vote are passed by a majority of the members present. The presiding officer may vote only in order to break a tie.

Section 4: |
Meetings of the Executive Board shall be held prior to each regular Chapter Meeting.

Section 5: |
The Executive Board shall conduct much of the tedious business of the chapter. The Board shall act as a court in constitutional, financial, and judicial questions. Any member may refer a question to the Board.

Section 6: |
Any and all actions of the Executive Board may be overruled be a two- thirds majority vote of the voting membership at the next Chapter meeting. Any action not overruled at said Chapter meetings will be assumed to be accepted by the brotherhood.

Section 7: |
All executive board officers must have active member status with a cumulative grade point average of 2.500 at the time of officer installation.
