Congratulations to Brother Jim Boeheim, Syracuse ’66 on becoming only the 18th man ever to accumulate 700 wins as a head college basketball coach. Brother Boeheim secured his 700th win when his Syracuse Orangemen handily defeated Providence 91 - 66 last week before a sell-out crowd in Syracuse. Boeheim is the sixth active coach to reach that milestone. In true Boeheim fashion, all of the credit went to his players.

1/30/2005 - Manitoba's first initiation of its 76th year!

10/1/2004 - The Georgia Tech chapter won the cornerstone event in Georgia Tech's homecoming events: the Ramblin' Reck Parade. Nearly 100 years old, the goal of the Ramblin' Reck parade is to create a "float" with an indirect drive train. This leads to many contraptions created by the different campus fraternities.

The chapter's "Hamster Wheel" design not only took First Place in the parade, but also won the President's Award, which is awarded by the President of the Institute to the contraption that he personally likes best. For winning, the four drivers got to spend the homecoming game in the luxury of the Presidential Suite and the Georgia Tech Chapter wins $400 to use for next years design.

10/1/2004 - Florida Gulf Coast University has asked Delta Upsilon for expansion materials for their upcoming expansion efforts. The University is located in Fort Myers, Florida and is currently one of the fastest growing schools in the United States.
