SIFE & PBL - - "A Perfect Marriage"

The Culver-Stockton SIFE & PBL Team provide real-world business experience through CustomPride and other educational projects. SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise) goals are accomplished through a team atmosphere working together with FBLA-PBL (Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda), a non-profit educational association for students preparing for careers in business, entrepreneurial, or business related fields. The association prepares students for employment by promoting competent, aggressive business leadership, increasing understanding of American free enterprise, establishing career goals, encouraging scholarship, and developing character and self-confidence. Our SIFE program, working under the umbrella of Phi Beta Lambda, is a "perfect marriage" to enhance our motto, "Invoke Your Passion. Energize Your Life."

Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE)

• Active on more than 1,200 colleges and universities in over 40 countries, SIFE teams are creating economic opportunity for millions of people around the world.

• Working as teams, SIFE students design educational outreach projects that help individuals in their communities develop a better understanding of the principles of free enterprise and how to use this information to empower themselves and achieve their dreams.

• As a SIFE student, you'll be a participant in one of the largest global student organizations.

• You'll play an active role in shaping the history of your generation and know that you have actually helped to change the world.

• YOU and your peers get to take complete ownership of you team. You get to decide what projects to conduct, who to work with, how to coordinate projects, and how much time to invest on projects.

• You'll tackle problems and learn from experiences that you simply can't find in the pages of a textbook.

Phi Beta Lambda (PBL)

• Phi Beta Lambda is the collegiate division of Future Business Leaders of America.

• It is a non-profit 501(C)(3) student organization devoted to developing competent leaders.

• We focus on Service, Education, and Progress.

• Membership in Phi Beta Lambda is open to students of all majors.

• Anyone can benefit from the leadership opportunities and personal development.

• FBLA-PBL has a quarter million members in over 13,000 chapters worldwide. That membership makes FBLA-PBL the largest student business association in the country.
