Krista
has been a member of SIFE & PBL for all 3 of her years at Culver-Stockton.
She has received the SIFE & PBL Leadership Award every year. She has worked on numerous SIFE & PBL
community projects including Relay for Life, Delta Upsilon Homeless Rally, and
Culver-Stockton Pillars Day. Krista has
been a valuable team member to CustomPride.
Her listing ability and endless dedication to customer service has
directly resulted in a strong growth for the company. Krista has traveled with the SIFE & PBL team to Wal-Mart
Headquarters, Target Headquarters, Bass Pro Distribution Center, Chicago Art
Museum, and so many others that we tour and present to. She is one of the pillars of the team. Krista is currently seeking internship
opportunities to further her business knowledge and increase her employment
potential. She has been on the Dean’s
List all three semesters of her college career and she is a member of Phi Eta
Sigma National Collegiate Honors Society.
Josh
has been a member of SIFE & PBL for three years and is looking forward to a
fourth. He has worked hard to continue
building upon a strong foundation left by SIFE & PBL alumni at
Culver-Stockton. He has received the
SIFE & PBL Leadership Award two years in a row. Some of the projects he has worked on include implementation of
an organizational structure for both SIFE & PBL and SIFE & PBL’s student
owned and operated business (CustomPride, designing and implementing an
inventory management system for CustomPride, and his role as General Manager of
CustomPride. Josh has traveled
extensively with CSC SIFE & PBL building upon classroom instruction with
trips to Wal-Mart Headquarters, Target Headquarters, Bass Pro Distribution
Center, Martin-McAllister Consulting, and others. In addition to his activities in SIFE & PBL, Josh served an
internship with the United States Treasury Department and aided the Officer of
Procurement in a Treasury-Wide Spending Analysis of the Bureaus’ spending. A considerable part of his research involved
a market basket comparison of IRS office supply spending against an
e-procurement system. Josh has a
cumulative G.P.A. of 4.0. He is a
member of Sigma Beta Delta National Collegiate Business Honors Society and has
been on the President’s List in all 5 semesters of his academic career. He will serve as this year’s Junior Marshall
in recognition of his academic achievement and leadership ability.
2006 – 07 will mark Sara’s second
year on the team. At her former school,
University of Northern Iowa, she made the Dean’s List in recognition of her
academic achievement. She has rapidly
adjusted to the fast-paced and energetic spirit of CSC SIFE & PBL. In the fall of 2005 she received the SIFE
& PBL Leadership Award in recognition for her dedication to the SIFE & PBL
team and the local community. Sara has
become one of our team’s top “listers”.
She has really had a tremendous impact on CustomPride’s sales growth. Sara’s writing ability has been a
significant asset to the team’s success.
As an English Major, she can offer her knowledge and writing ability in
our listings, presentations, and formal business writings. In return, SIFE & PBL has taught Sara
valuable business skills that she will be able to apply in her career. Sara will beour SIFE & PBL Community Service
Director and CustomPride Inventory Control Manager.
This
is Jan’s second year at Culver-Stockton College. He is returning as a full-time
student after a number of years in the Materials Department of a local
automotive supplier (Metzler Automotive Profile Systems) where he scheduled and
expedited work-in-progress inventory as well as assisting in special projects.
He has also worked in the Manufacturing and Quality Control Departments. Jan is excited about furthering his
education and appreciates the opportunity to be a part of SIFE & PBL and
CustomPride. As a result of his
experience and countless hours spent working on CustomPride, Jan has taken over
as the General Manger of CustomPride for 2006-07.
